Helping to build a successful community is part of Wayne State University's urban mission. Lending helpful hands to uplift those in need is a critical building block. Wayne Cares is a university outreach initiative that brings together the university community for the purpose of charitable giving. Its primary goal is to help university units work together and collaborate with each other for the good of the community.

Our goal is to provide a safe and clean environment for all of Detroit's children to play and enjoy this summer.
